Please see Mr. Miller's statement below regarding today's incident at the High School.

Subject: Important Update Regarding School Safety Incident - January 28, 2026
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am writing to inform you of a safety incident that occurred this morning and the protocols we enacted to ensure the safety of your students.
The Timeline of Events:
• 7:28 a.m. (via voicemail): Our school received a threat stating that a bomb had been placed within the building.
• Immediate Action: We notified law enforcement immediately. Students and staff already on-site were evacuated to the Worland Middle School.
• Arrival Procedures: All students arriving after the threat were directed immediately to the Middle School rather than entering the high school building.
• 8:45 a.m.: Law enforcement officially cleared the building. No credible threat was found, and classes resumed at the high school.
Context: We have learned that several other schools across Wyoming received similar threats this morning. While we treat every threat as credible until proven otherwise, this appears to have been part of a wider disruption effort.
We appreciate the swift response of our local law enforcement and the calm cooperation of our students. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigated this situation.
Sincerely,

Bruce Miller
