Don't forget the winter all sports parent meeting tonight at 6:30 in the gymnasium. 🏀🤼🏊♂️

🌟Congratulations to these change makers🌟
They were honored this morning at State student council from First Lady Gordon and their efforts on her hunger initiative; with their leadership and dedication from our students, they were able to pay off some lunch debt. 🧡🖤

🌟 Happy National Education Week! 🌟
To all the incredible educators—teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, administrators, support staff, and mentors—thank you. Your dedication, patience, creativity, and heart make an immeasurable impact every single day.
💡You inspire curiosity.
💥You spark confidence.
➡️You help shape the future.
Whether you're teaching in a classroom, supporting students behind the scenes, or guiding them through life’s challenges, your work truly matters. Today and every day, we celebrate you. 🙏📚💛
Pictured below is board President Donny Bryant, Charlie Cauffman, & Jody Rackness handing out gifts to the staff. Thanks guys!

Student council organized a canned food drive to help the local Ministerial Food pantry. Your Warriors showed up; donating 20 jammed packed boxes. Way to give back!

A Message to Our Washakie County School District #1 Families
We know that many families in our community are facing uncertainty with the recent news about SNAP benefits. Please remember that we are a community that supports one another.
Our top priority is ensuring that every student has access to nutritious meals so they can focus on learning. Even if you were not previously eligible, a change in family circumstances may qualify you for free or reduced-price school meals.
We encourage you to fill out an application today. The process is confidential and easy to complete.
• You can pick up an application at any school or the Central Office (1900 Howell Avenue)

New quarter means new green blocks for students at WHS. Mrs. Abel's community service continues to be a student favorite; I mean who wouldn't want trips to the Humane Society to be greeted with wagging tails and soft kitten cuddles? 🖤🧡

School retakes are Thursday, Oct. 23rd. Packets are available in the office.

Parent teacher conferences are this week! Tuesday from 4-8pm and Wed. 4-6pm. Come talk to your student teachers and see how the first quarter went!

Attention WHS 📣
Picture day is tomorrow 📸
Packets were sent home Friday

Attention Senior Parents; we will be having a FAFSA parent meeting on Tuesday (9/23/25) from 5:30-6:30 at the high school tech lab.
Excuse this homecoming interruption; to give a shoutout to honor our own Grace Anderson for National Ag Teacher Day
She does more grow more than crops — she grow minds, leaders, and the future of agriculture. 👩🏫👨🏫 From teaching soil science to inspiring leadership through FFA, she goes the extra acre every day. 🚜💚
Thanks G, for everything you do! 🖤🧡

Wednesdays we wear PINK!

It was a Wild day yesterday in terms of Wild West vs West Coast. I'd say our students nailed it. Check out the senior center keeping up with us. We ended the night with a very thrilling match of Lady Warrior volleyball and burning of the W.

Tailgate Tuesday tonight! It is in the side parking lot next to the gym, food trucks/vendors include: Matamoros Grill & Love, The Local Lemon, Smashburgers, Los Werquilios, Senior Class Cotton Candy, Freshmen Class Sally's Pizza, FBLA is selling Italian Sodas, CNA/Athletic Training classes are selling Walking Tacos, Student Council is selling pop and drinks, and for dessert- you can get baked treats from Kacie Miller. Cheer is doing face painting and selling their old pom-poms. It should be a fun night, so please invite the community to come to the gym!

We slid into Monday in comfy style. Even the senior center was comfy with us! Tomorrow is West Coast vs Wild West.

Here's the skinny for WHS homecoming week. We encourage community members and businesses to help celebrate! Starts Monday Sept. 15th 🖤🧡

Attention Class of 2026 parents! This meeting is for you. Please see below
