Mr. Wade Sanford
Greetings, this is my second year as the principal at Worland High School ands my nineteenth year in Washakie County School District #1. I began at the high school in the fall of 2000 as a math teacher and head football coach. I transitioned into the assistant principal position at Worland High School in the fall of 2005 and remained in that position until 2011. At that time, I returned to teaching math and was fortunate enough to work at Worland Middle School for two years as the 7th grade math teacher. In the fall of 2013, I assumed the position of principal at South Side Elementary School in Worland and was privileged to serve in that capacity for four years. In the fall of 2017, I began my tenure as the principal of Worland High School.
I feel very fortunate and honored to work with such a great staff here at Worland High School. Our goal is that all students will learn at a high level while providing excellent instruction and support for them. Our staff is committed to continuous improvement in our instructional practices while developing appropriate relationships with our students and each other, creating a culture of exploration and excellence.
I look forward to another exciting and fulfilling year.
